The LWC Years

Prior to becoming the New York WSO on January 1st, 2022 our state was divided into two organizations: the Niagara Weightlifting LWC and the Metropolitan Weightlifting LWC (Local Weightlifting Committee). This page is dedicated to preserving the history of our LWC years.

Below you'll find the Niagara and Metropolitan LWC bylaws along with Metropilitan board meeting minutes from 2015 to 2021. These documents are displayed here for historical reference and the old bylaws are not longer in effect. The NY WSO now operates under USA Weightlifting's bylaws which you can find here.
