Coach of the Year

Awards Process

Eligibility Criteria: The NY WSO recognizes achievements in coaching.

To be eligible for an award a coach must:

Be a member of the NY WSO and in good standing with USA Weightlifting.
Possess a minimum of a current USA Weightlifting Level 1 coaching credential.
Have at least one athlete in the top 20 of the National Rankings in the Youth, Junior, Senior, or Masters categories.

The winner will be determined via a points-based grading system.
