Record Breakers: CNY Regional Open

Congratulations to all the athletes who broke state records or record standards at the Central New York Weightlifting Regional Open!⁣

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗶 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗿⁣

Masters Women (35-39), 63 kg.⁣

Records: 80 kg CJ, 143 kg Total.⁣

Staci broke the 64 kg record standard. She broke the 79 kg CJ and 140 kg Total records previously held by Emily Miccio.⁣

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵⁣

Masters Women (65-69), 58 kg.⁣

Records: 20 kg SN, 27 kg CJ, 47 kg Total.⁣

⁣Mary broke the 19 kg SN, 26 kg CJ, and 45 kg Total record standards.⁣

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗼⁣

Masters Men (60-64), 94 kg.⁣

Record: 70 kg SN, 159 kg Total.⁣

Gene broke the 64 kg SN and 156 kg Total record standards.⁣

𝗝𝗶𝗺 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵⁣

Masters Men (60-64), 110 kg.⁣

Record: 75 kg SN, 105 kg CJ, 180 kg Total.⁣

⁣During the competition, Jeff Fair first broke the 63 kg SN record standard before Jim surpassed it. Jeff also broke the 84 kg CJ and 144 kg Total records, previously held by Jeff Pfohl, before Jim went on to break those as well.⁣
