A big shout-out to Gregg Decker (@greggalandecker) of Marley Barbell Club (@marley_barbell_club) for being the very first volunteer for the 2025 NYS Championships, taking place on September 27 & 28 in Binghamton, NY!
Gregg will be dedicating his time to volunteering at many local meets this year, and we deeply appreciate his commitment to supporting our community.
Not only is Gregg an outstanding athlete, ranked first in the state for his weight classes and age group last year, but he’s also stepping into the technical official world with a goal of earning the National Referee credential. With the same hard work and determination he shows in training and competition, we have no doubt Gregg will achieve this new milestone.
