Congratulations to everyone from our WSO who represented New York during the Virus Weightlifting Finals in Daytona Beach, Florida. Results from the UMWF World Championships are posted separately.
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘕𝘠:
𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Sadie Cirbus (U13W 53) earned two bronze medals: 50 kg CJ, 89 kg Total.
Aurora Garland (U13W 48) earned three silver medals: 35 kg SN, 42 kg CJ, and 77 kg Total.
Ashton Gibbs (U13M 65) earned three gold medals: 40 kg SN, 54 kg CJ, and 94 kg Total.
𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Chealsea Enemor (86+) earned three gold medals: 97 kg SN, 135 kg CJ, and 232 kg Total.
𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Amanda Williams (W35 58) earned a bronze medal: 66kg SN, and two silver medals: 80 kg CJ, and 146 kg Total.
Nidia Pardo (W40 58) earned three gold medals: 77 kg SN, 101 kg CJ, and 178 kg Total. Nidia was also the Best Lifter in her age group and weight class.
Shamil Parbhoo (M35 65) earned three silver medals: 87 kg SN, 110 kg CJ, and 197 kg Total.
Justin Barber (M35 71) earned three gold medals: 106 kg SN, 131 kg CJ, and 237 kg Total.
Bryan Jow (M35 79) earned two silver medals: 114 kg SN and 257 kg Total, and a gold medal: 143 kg CJ. 3rd place overall in the military masters division with a 368.355 Q Score.
Jean Laguerre Jr. (M35 110+) earned two bronze medals: 137 kg SN and 297 kg Total.
Arkadiy Makaron (M40 71) earned a bronze medal: 103 kg CJ.
Ryan Hansen (M40 110) earned three gold medals: 124 kg SN, 162 kg CJ, and 286 kg Total. 2nd place overall in the military masters division with a 372.955 Q Score.
Michael Brown (M45 88) earned a silver medal: 98 kg CJ, and two gold medals: 86 kg SN and 184 kg Total.
